11:00 am: Took the lids off each of the trays to water and give a quick inspection. I was pleasantly surprised to find very few sticks to the lids as they were removed, which I was a little worried about.
There was still a very little bit of water in the trays, and I went ahead and them all a very generous watering, then put the top trays back on and have the trays back in their rack.
I will come back and check on them later tonight and give them another watering.
11:30 pm: Gave the trays their nightly watering.
A few observations:
- Continue to see very little seed sticking to underside of the cover up lid.
- There was still a little moisture in the trays. Not a lot, but before I sprayed the seeds again I dried out the trays with a paper towel.
- I notice zero change when looking at the sunflower trays.
- Both the red cabbage and red kale trays appear to be showing signs of germination already. I will expect to see additional development by the time I water again tomorrow morning, and at that time I will get a pic to start to compare to daily.
- I am officially a farmer 🙂
